Iran is willing to reinitiate nuclear talks with Washington on condition that it is handled with "dignity" and "respect", Iran's top diplomat has declared.

The Iranian diplomat stated only diplomacy was effective, and disclosed recent overtures had come from mediators to resume talks with the American leadership. He claimed Iran had zero secret atomic facilities, and Tehran could not yet permit the International Atomic Energy Agency to visit struck enrichment centers for security reasons.

Navigating a Difficult Path

The foreign minister is walking a difficult course since Iran does not want be perceived to be proceeding from a situation of vulnerability, and he insisted repeatedly that Iran had emerged more resilient in military terms and mentally from the Israeli-US attack on its enrichment centers in June.
